Wake Forest wildlife control tip of the month:
Can you tell me what Wake Forest animal control animal left these droppings. They are in my garage. This is the second pile. The first was discovered
around a mouse trap and smelled really bad – but it appeared fresh as it was Wake Forest animal control still shiny. It has a white cap on it. I understand
this can only be a snake, lizard or bird, but it is too large for a bird. Haven’t seen any big lizards either. We do have a black
racer snake living in close proximity to our home. Would appreciate any help you can Wake Forest pest control offer. Just want to know what came into the
garage and what I need to watch out for. The droppings appear to be old compared to the first pile we found, but similar in appearance.
Thanks so much, Kathy
Hello David, I live in Wake Forest. & I'm in a Wake Forest pest control small subdivision with a retention pond which has Muscovy Ducks as well as
Canadian Geese. Their poop everywhere is not to my liking, especially all over my driveway. I was told that the Canadian Geese
are protected & we need to Wake Forest wildlife removal leave them be, even if they sometimes congregate on our neighborhood roads & don't seem to be much in a
hurry to move away from the car that needs to go! The Muscovy Ducks I understood were not protected under the Wake Forest wildlife removal same laws as the Geese?
I have not been very successful in discouraging the ducks from being a dirty nuisance in my yard & driveway & a neighbor has taken pictures
of me chasing the ducks out with a BB pistol, which I'm not very accurate with and doesn't appear to be hurting or effecting the ducks other
than getting them to temporarily move off my property only to return again later. My question is: Can I be fined or go to jail for cruelty
to animals? I was told that the laws are such with these Muscovy Ducks which I'm not hurting or Wake Forest animal trapping killing & I do have a neighbor that I believe will
possibly cause me trouble!!! I do appreciate your time in helping me out with my ignorance to the Florida Laws here in Jacksonville. I surely do
not want to go to jail or fined Wake Forest exterminator over this matter. Gratefully, Jimmy.
I don't know the laws. I do know that Muscovy Ducks are one of the few Wake Forest exterminator animals that wildlife trappers can catch and kill.
